BACKGROUND
Dom Bonnici, founder of Dior Constructions PL, entered the Building Industry at the tender age of 16 years old, as a carpenter with drive to excel at his craft. Developing a vested interest in design and construction very early on in the piece, he was soon working alongside some of Melbourne's most prestigious builders, tasked with the responsibility of running large projects.
This fostered his knowledge and skill to the highest standard, through exercising all aspects of the building process - from sketches, planning and a successful handover of a finished project.
With his level headed approach and pleasant demeanour, Dom runs projects with finesse though a seamless collaboration with client, trades involved and designers or architects if the job is of that nature. The volume of referrals generated from previous clients, is testament to the environment Dior create on a site.
With 25 years experience, and a passion for design also in his personal life - which he shares with his wife, who is also in the industry, Dom and his qualified team hold vast expertise, allowing for efficient, optimal execution of desired concepts.
PHILOSOPHY
Mainly servicing Melbourne's inner south, including Malvern, Prahran and Elsternwick, as well as surrounding Bayside suburbs, we specialise in Heritage and Period restorations, renovations and extension. We practise a strong ethos of respecting the integrity of the property. We are able to achieve a Contemporary aesthetic with today’s expectations by celebrating the history of the building and its features, and creating a considered and resolved marriage of past and present.
We believe exterior spaces are of supreme importance, and offer our clients the opportunity to maximise their surrounding environment through internal works and landscaping, integrating the inside and out harmoniously.
